Timothy Wayne Quinn (Tim) passed away at his home in Conway, AR on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at\nthe age of 70. He was born on January 16, 1953, to O.L. and Eunice Quinn who preceded him in death. Also\npreceding him in death was Molli Quinn (Yorkie), whom Tim dearly loved and called his Molli-girl. Molli brought\npure joy into our lives.\nTim is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Joan Jarrett Quinn, his three children: sons; Zachary Jarrett\nQuinn of Conway, AR and Kenneth Wayne Carroway, Jr of Pine Bluff, AR and his daughter Devin Joan Allbritton of\nPine Bluff, AR, four grandchildren and one great-grand child, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts,\nuncles, and friends. He is also survived by his sister Deby Knuteson (John) of Bryant, AR and by Tobi Quinn of\nConway, AR (Yorkie) who was a daddy's boy and kept him company when Joan was traveling for her job.\nTim was an insurance agent for many years and loved meeting people and telling them his endless jokes and\nstories. In the beginning of his career, he would actually collect the premiums from the homes that he visited.\nBecause he never met a stranger and due to the fact that he would eat almost anything, he was invited into these\nhomes for lunch. He liked to brag about the meals he had there: turnip greens and cornbread, black eyed peas,\nfried green tomatoes, fried okra, beans cooked with ham hocks and country fried chicken. Word quickly spread in\nthe neighborhoods that there was not a lot that Tim would not eat and the invitations to have him for lunch just\ncontinued. Of course, while the meal was being consumed, Tim was telling his stories and keeping everyone\nentertained.\nFishing was a pastime that Tim enjoyed but only practiced the "catch and release" method. He said the fun\nwas in catching the fish, not cleaning or eating them.\nTim was also an avid guitar player and had over a dozen guitars, amplifiers, foot pedals, tuners, and picks. A\nfew years ago, Tim and Joan went to an Eagles concert and one of the Eagles gave him a guitar pick. He could\nbarely drive home from the concert due to his excitement over that little guitar pick. He is gone from our sight but\nwill remain in our hearts.\nA Red Cup Celebration of Life will be held at the event center at Rosewood Cremation & Funeral, 438 Highway 64E\nin Conway, AR on Thursday, February 23rd beginning at 4:00 PM.
