Donald Porter

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of the loving and supportive Donald Porter, also known as Don, who left us on August 16, 2023. Born on April 10, 1951, Donald had a life filled with love, joy, and fulfillment, living in Conway, Arkansas for the last decade. Widowed, his loving marriage spanned half a century from June 4, 1971. Donald was a thoughtful man who took great pride in his occupation as a grocery bagger, an employment he held for 10 years, and where he was recognized as a hard worker. He was a man who loved the outdoors, with hunting, fishing, and camping among his favorite pursuits.
Donald was a family man at heart. His legacy is carried on by his children; Donald Porter, David (Aundie)Porter, and Denise (Scott) Mulkey, his brothers; Cliff (Jan) Porter, Art (Marian) Porter, and Billy (Jennifer)Porter, and his sister Darlene (Brian) Hunter. He was a devoted grandfather to six grandchildren and a doting great-grandfather to twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Arthur, his mother Rita, his spouse Debra, his grandson Cody Taylor, and his brother Ronald.

A Red Cup Life Celebration will be held in honor of Donald Porter on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 1:00 pm CDT at the Rosewood Cremation & Funeral located at 438 U.S. 64, Conway, Arkansas, 72032.
