Douglas Eugene Thorpe Obituary (1945

Douglas Eugene Thorpe passed away at the age of 75 in Conway, AR. On February 25th, 2021. Mr. Thorpe was born August 10, 1945 in Holland, MI to Douglas and Julian Thorpe. He is a US Navy Veteran. He loved to play pool, shuffleboard and golf. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends, and Doug was the life of the party. Mr. Thorpe is preceded in death by his wife Irene E. Thorpe, parents, Douglas Ray Thorpe, and Julian Jones Thorpe; his son, Douglas "Chip" Dean Thorpe; and his brother, Mike Thorpe. He is survived by his loving daughter, Amy Miera of Westminster, CO; his three brothers, Kenneth "Kenny" Thorpe of Conway, AR, Danny (Debbie) Thorpe of Greenbrier, AR, Scotty Thorpe of Cato, AR; and his sister, Kimberly Sartain (Mark) of Conway, AR; four grandchildren, Amanda Miera, Joshua Miera, Zachery Miera, Dominic Miera; seven great grandchildren, Adrienne King, Travis King, Zaden Miera, Zoeey Miera, Delilah Miera, Paxton, Miera, and Hazel Miera.
