Hobart Daniel Curtis, Jr. Obituary (1948 - 2022)

Hobart Daniel Curtis, Jr., was born May 26, 1948 in Harriman, TN a son to Hobart Daniel Curtis Sr. and Barbara Bumpus Curtis. He was known by many names: "Dan", "Curtis", "Jr.", and passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 in his home. He retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. He later retired as a civilian working for the United States Government. He was an easy man to talk to and all that knew him sought his advice and expertise, whether it be electrical, plumbing, construction, cars, or just about life itself. Dan loved life and made sure he lived each day to the fullest. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. Dan was preceded in death by his parents: Three brothers: Bruce, Conrad, and George Curtis; two sisters: Carol Monroe and Cathleen Curtis. Hobart Daniel Curtis, Jr. was survived by his wife of 54 years: Stephanie Curtis of Vilonia, two sons: Hobart D. Curtis III (Nina) of Vilonia, Greg Curtis of Vilonia (Rachel Buckler of England); two daughters: Peggy Baker (Sammy) of Spring City, TN, Deborah Wright of Vilonia; sister: Linda Tate of Harriman, TN; sixteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00p.m., Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Rosewood Funeral & Cremation 438 Hwy 64 E. Conway, AR 72032.
